AIMS

·         To support academic activities in scientific areas of Biogeography, Ecology (Environmental, Cultural, Human), as well as the protection of nature and natural resources

·         To cover training and research needs of graduate, postgraduate and PhD students of the department as well as on the level of international exchange

·         To conduct basic and applied research in relevant subjects, via the development, co-ordination and realisation of research projects

·         To organise seminars, congresses, lectures, and exhibitions in the above-mentioned scientific areas

·         To disseminate, in any appropriate way, the research results and expertise in the field to improve environmental education and social services
